The cartons did not arrive all at the same time.
This happens quite often with cross continent courier shipping. Track your shipments on ups.com or fedex.com. Let us know if one package is hung up for more than 2 days. The cartons are beaten up. Again, a common occurrence with courier delivery service. Our packaging is meant to be sacrificial so although it might look rough, the speakers are probably in good shape. Damage is very infrequent now but if it does happen, we will ship out a replacement unit as soon as we are notified. These things are heavier than I thought. You're complaining? Where is the hardware???? In one of the two Ribbon cartons along with the unpacking and setup instructions. How long does break-in take? A function of time played times volume at which said playing occurs plus your ears and your environment and, apparently, the phase of the moon or presence of sunspots. How hard should I clamp down the binding posts and Ribbon bolts? Not very hard at all. Use firm finger pressure only. The number one cause of loudspeaker damage is the breaking of binding posts by people using wrenches etc to really clamp down on cable. Binding posts are fairly small in diameter, have a hole through them and are made of brass or other soft alloy which is gold plated. They are not 3/8" steel bolts that will take all of the muscle you can apply.
