Ribbon Loudspeakers by Newform Research.

Newform Research makes products primarily for home applications. Despite this, our Ribbons have been used in sound reinforcement systems from churches to bars and hotel lounges.

We have not pursued this business but as the very strong advantages of the Coaxial Ribbon LineSource technology (line array speakers) become more and more evident, we are feeling our way into the market.

Our LineSource technology is suitable for any small to medium sized application where sound quality is highly valued.

Live theater, folk, jazz, small orchestral and coral performance will benefit immensely from the sound quality advantages our systems offer over traditional bass bins and horn drivers.

If extremely high volumes and transportability are required, then our systems are currently not suitable. But where the speakers will stay either fixed or moved short distances by hand, then they will enhance virtually any medium sized venue.
