CUSTOM LOUDSPEAKERS
We can offer considerable flexibility in speaker design and finish. Midbass drivers, cabinet dimensions, finishes can be mixed and matched to your specific needs. In our 1" MDF midbass enclosures as well as in our formed cabinets.
The Options for Midbass drivers are broad:
3" to 7" ScanSpeak, Accuton, Eton, Vifa, Seas, Peerless - basically any high end drivers.Wiring Options:
Although we are wire sceptics, we can accommodate various wire types and sizes for internal wiring but it must be of a kind which will not stress the terminals of the drivers either during operation or shipping.The crossovers can be mounted internally or externally and almost any kind of binding post can be incorporated into the loudspeaker construction.
Cabinets can be made using two different types of construction. The first is the conventional 6 sided cabinet optimized with v3 technology and the second is the formed cabinets. There is considerably greater dimensional flexibility in the “flat sided” cabinets as the formed cabinets are fixed in depth.

Caveats
There is no end of cautions in modifying a loudspeaker or starting from the ground up but here are a few of the basics.1. If you specify your own choice of midbass driver or a mix of our current midbasses which will represent a mismatch of sensitivities between Ribbons and midbass, then you will have to include an electronic crossover and biamping in your plans.
The good news - very high sensitivity and high impedance SE tube amp friendly designs are possible. 2. Oddball cabinet shapes. Out. 3. Designs which we firmly believe have no acoustic merit. We aren’t doing it. 4. Vainglorious displays of wretched excess. We’ll give you a list of more sympathetic manufacturers to call. 5. If we build it to your specification, when we ship it , you own it. Return policy does not apply.
If you would like to proceed with a custom application, keep in mind that we will be starting with extremely high quality midbass drivers and our own superb Ribbon drivers. These will be incorporated in excellent midbass enclosures so the musical results will be there in the end. You’ll just have something that fits your life a little better than any other loudspeaker in the world.
