GREAT ROOM CORRECTION
  The companies that do room correction the best are the companies that have been at it the longest with the most expensive gear. Meridian, Tact, DEQX and Rives are about it for the elite of the resonance tamers.
 
How long will it be before their technology is shrunk onto a chip and sold for $2 each in lots of 10,000? Video scaler Farouja has gone this way. Where their stand alone video scalers could easily top $20,000 10 years ago, today we have Farouja chips in many mass market video devices which do a better job than the mega $ component of several years ago. How long will it be before we have a small Tact or Meridian logo on the side of a $300 Sony receiver?
 
But as always, if you want the best in room correction right now, then you have to be prepared to pay for it.
