NHB 645

The NHB645 is a No Holds Barred version of our most popular loudspeaker, the R645. The NHB 645 utilizes ultra rigid, formed maple plywood to create a cabinet which from both the outside and the inside is an improvement on virtually every high end loudspeaker cabinet in the world. On the inside, the reduced parallel surfaces minimize standing waves and reflections and on the outside, the heavily curved and sloped surfaces smooth the waveflow for dramatically reduced diffraction.

NHB models use ScanSpeak Revelator midbasses which are provide an added increment of midbass transparency to our standard ScanSpeak carbon fibre pulp cones. The R45 Ribbon handles the high end with the greatest transparency, detail and smoothness.

Applications

The NHB645 is an answer for the people who require the last 2% of audio quality coupled with a striking aesthetic in medium to large rooms in stereo or home theater applications. High dynamics or delicate music, this loudspeaker handles it all.

Loudspeaker Setup

Identical setup and application as the R645v3, the NHB likes lots of air to throw a wide, deep and precisely focused soundstage. Subs may be useful in exceptionally large rooms for music and are a certainty for home theater systems using this quality of front loudspeaker. Cross the sub over early (<40Hz) to take the greatest advantage of the tight and transparent midbass from the NHB.
