I've been thinking on and off for over a year that I should make a review of your speakers on audio review. It is discouraging to see this happen to you. I've always felt that you are a person/company of integrity. I will do my best to place a review and some well deserved good comments of you and your products as soon as possible.

I haven't bought a set of your ribbons yet, but they are in my sights. Just a word of encouragement and a way to turn a negative into a positive. Smear campaigns don't really work unless they take something that is true in some way and twist it. The way to turn this thing into a positive is to listen close to the criticism and see if there isn't actually something you need to work on, and then fix it. I'm not suggesting there is something wrong, I'm just suggesting a way to capitalize on a bad situation.
The wost kind of lie is a half truth.
This person(s) has not shaken my confidence in your product.

I, for one, am still thrilled then I listen to my '630's... Even after using them for some 2 years!

I have frequented the AA for a few years now and first learned about your speakers there. I enjoyed visiting the Planar forum and reading about what other owners of Newforms were doing with their speakers to derive the maximum performance from them. And then enter "MikeCh" who made a career of smearing your great product. Like many, at first I just sort of said that everyone is entitled to their likes and dislikes, but this guy as we all know was relentless in his attacks. This finally of course resulted in forming the Yahoo Newform forum which I and many other devotees have joined. This cause all Newform owners to virtually cease discussion of your speakers at AA and a flood of Newformers jumped ship at AA to reform over at Yahoo. I was saddened by this change of venue since now it was now a forum of only newform owners mostly and no public discussion amounst a much larger audience at AA. I am sure this really disturbed you very much, and I had hoped this day would come that you would unmask the individual(s) responsible for this smaer campaign. Now that you have, I will try as others at the Newform user group to encourage others to shift the discussion once again over to AA so that larger public audience can gain some knowledge about your speakers.

John, I was very suprised to see the E-mail regarding the smear campaign, as a customer of yours I think your products are a bargain considering the performance and the customer service you provide. I am glad that you caught the perpetrator and hopefully you will receive compensation for the damages to you and your company and that you will continue to design and build new and exciting products for us all to enjoy.
